Key Lever Mechanism, Typewriter- Remington 2000

The second part of our study of the typewriter as a part of our course - Technical Studies (Faculty: Mr. Ranjit Konkar), required us to replicate one mechanism and we chose the key lever mechanism.

Okay, it may sound like a biiig mechanism but basically it is how an alphabet is printed on the rolled sheet when the key of the very same alphabet is pressed on the qwerty keyboard. We did this in a group of three.

SLOW MOTION (slomo) OF THE KEY LEVER MECHANISM IN ACTION

Please bear with us. The video lighting seems to be shaking because it is a slomo.
